Please add function to change the Lightness of the checkerboard background. Personally, I would like to make it just a bit darker.

Please add function to auto remove all background or partial background remover.

Example: When drawing a straight 1 px line I would like it to snap to fill a whole pixel by setting the position attributes to half pixel values.
