sort fonts by type

Please can you add a function to sort fonts by what type of font they are? It would be great to be able to sort fonts by serif and sans-serif, at least. Sorting by serif, sans-serif, monospace, and display would be best. There are also semi-serif fonts, but that might be a bit too granular. Some fonts belong to more than one category and should therefore be placed in both. See the attached screenshot for the kind of thing I mean.
