Title attribute is nice for letting users hover over an icon and telling the user what the icon is.
Now for ONLY touch devices it's not really needed but for people like me who use a laptop/tablet convertible it's nice to have so I know what an icon is because the assistant bar doesn't go in depth within the contextual menu.
