Smooth connection between any two straight lines

I don't know if it's just me,

but ever since we've got, back then called, Gravit Designer I couldn't connect two lines with the magnet on, and I always up to this day had to turn the magnet off (or it couldn't allow me to shorten the line-endpoints just right) and justify it manually.

I hope I'm not alone ;)
